It is a pain free experience. Clients may feel a warm and cold with very mild prickling sensation during treatment. It is important to be cleanly shaven to have the most comfortable laser hair removal experience and have optimal results.
There is no minimum age to do laser hair removal.
Generally 8-12 sessions are required. However, this number differs per person depending on skin colour, hair colour, hair thickness, growth stages and other factors.
Depending on the area of the treatment, it may take between 15-60 minutes. Other factors such as hair thickness may influence the treatment time.
Every 4 weeks for optimal results.
You will likely see results after the first treatment. On average, clients see a reduction in growth by 20-30% after each treatment. These results may vary per person depending on skin type, hair thickness, growth phase, etc.
  1. Shave the area 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
  2. Do not wax/tweeze the area for 4 weeks before your appointment or whilst undergoing a course of laser hair removal treatments.
  3. Allow for a waiting period of 2 weeks if you are on any antibiotics/steroids.
  4. When using topical retinoids, wait 4-5 days before having laser hair removal done to the area of use.
  5. Ensure to let your therapist know of any medical conditions you have during your consultation.
  6. Avoid direct sun exposure/tanning one week prior to your appointment.
  1. Apply a good SPF sunscreen daily to the treated area.
  2. Do not exercise within 24 hours of having your treatment.
  3. Topical retinoids can only be used 3 days post-treatment.
  4. Do not make use of a hot bath, sauna or chlorinated pool 24 hours post-treatment.
  5. Do not remove hair on the area with any other hair removal method other than shaving.
